Dear Parent,
We are pleased it inform you that our school is planning to publish the school magazine shortly.

The students are requested to submit their creative work in English, Hindi and  Arabic - Poems, short stories, essays, jokes, puzzles, riddles, drawings, paintings, sketches, articles etc. to their respective subject teacher.

All entries must be original should be typed or written neatly and a copy of the same should be submitted to the concerned teacher.

The last date for submission of entries is 01 March 2011.

We are pleased to inform you that the school managing committee has arranged for a meeting with the parents of LKG to Class XII in the New Building Hall (First Floor). The date for the meeting will be informed soon.

You are requested to hand over your suggestions, comments etc. to the Principal on or before Saturday 12th February 2011 by 1:00 pm.
Please note that only signed letters with name of \parent and student, Class & section and GR no. will be considered. Only suggestions / comments will be discussed. No other point will be discussed.

Dar Al Atta Competition

Dear Parent,

Sub: Dar Al Atta's Lets Read committee is organising its 5th Children's writing competition. The theme is "Stories from Oman".

Students aged 4 to 8 years, 9 to 13 years and 14 to 18 years can participate by writing a story based on any existing Omani folklore. They can also write a completely imaginary, fictitious story set in Oman. Students can recount a real life adventure they have had in Oman. The story can be set in any era, past or future.
Stories should be 500 words or less. Illustrated front cover (max A 4 size) should be attached to the story and clearly marked with
*The title of the story
*Student's name, class & section, age email ID and name of school on the cover itself.
Closing date of entries - Saturday 26th February 2011
The entries can be submitted to the following teacher-in-charge according to the category mentioned:
KG - II Mrs. Mayalaxmi
III-VIII Mrs. Ranjana Gupta
IX-XII Mrs. Greenal

Republic Day 2011

Dear Parent,

Parents are cordially invited for the celebration at 8:15 am. Mr Haridas Jivraj Java, President, School managing committee will hoist the National flag at 8:30 am. Parents may park their vehicles in the open ground on left hand side of Junior school building.
Students are required to be present in the school at 7:50 am on Wednesday the 26th January 2011 in clean, neatly ironed uniform and clean, polished white shoes. The participants should come dressed in their costumes at 7:30 am. There will be no regular classes on 26.01.2011. The students can leave after the programme and distribution of refreshments at 9:45 am.
