Dear Parent

Sub: Republic Day Celebration on 26.01.09

Students are required to be present in the school at 7.50 am on 26.01.09 Monday in clean,neatl ironed white uniform and clean polished white shoes. The participants should come dressed in their costumes at 7.30 am.

Parents are cordially invited for the celebration at 8.15 am. Mr Dilip Asher, Convenor, School Managing Committee will hoist the National Flag at 8.30 am. Parents may park their vehicles in the open ground between the traffic signal and the school compound.
There will be no regular classes on 26.01.09. The students can leave after the programme and distribution of refreshments at 10.30 am.

Sub: On the spot Painting Competition for Class VII & VIII

We wish to inform you that ‘on the spot painting competition’ for Classes VII and VIII will be held on Thursday, the 15th January 2009. Children are allowed to use water colour or poster colour. Drawing sheet will be provided from school. Assessment will be based on colour combination, originality and finishing.

Sub: Power Point Presentation Competition for Std. VIII – XII

We wish to inform you that the Power Point presentation competition will be held between 13.12.08 and 18.12.08 for Std. VIII to XII in their respective computer periods. Duration of the competition will be one period. Students can choose any one of the following topics:

· GO GREEN
· TERRORISM – A GLOBAL THREAT
· GLOBAL WARMING
· INTERNET – REDUCING DISTANCES

Assessment will be based on background scheme, graphics, visual effects and contents. Interested students may submit their names to their computer teacher on or before 11.12.08.

Sub: Santa Claus Competition for Std. V to Std. VIII

We are pleased to inform you that Santa Claus Competition will be held on 21.12.08 at 8:30 am in the school. Maximum time for each participant on the stage is 15 seconds. No points will be given for verbal ex-pression. Points will be given on the following 1) costume 2) make-up 3) gesture. The participants should be ready in their costumes by 08:15 am and remain in LKG B. The participants should give their names to the respective class teachers on or before 13.12.08.

Dear Parent,
Sub: Study Tour for Std. IX to XII on Monday 08.12.08

We have arranged a study tour for the students of Std. IX to XII on Monday 08.12.08 to L&T Plant, Sohar from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. It is a free trip organizing by L & T, Sohar. Students should report to the school on 8th December 08 at 10:00 am. Students will be dropped back at the school around 12:30 pm from where the students have to go home on their own. Students should come in grey school uniform with black shoes.
