Sub: Independence Day - Art Competition - 14th August
Reference to our circular No. ISS/CIR/008/09-10 dated 18 May 2009. All students of classes VI-VIII who are interested may report in art room on 29th July 2009 Wednesday at 8.0 am. Papers will be provided. Students can use any medium - paints, colour pencils, crayons etc. Interested students to bring their own art materials.

Sub: Winter Vacation
We wish to inform you that the winter vacation for KG to class IV will be from 17.12.2009 to 19.01.2009 and for classes V to XII from 31.12.2009 to 15.01.2010. The school will reopen for all classes on 16.01.2010. During the vacation the school office will function from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm five days a week ( Saturday to Wednesday).

Sub: DVD of annual concert and annual day programme
DVDs of annual concert 2009 and annual day 2009 are available from school @ RO 3.000 per programme. Interested students may pay the amount in the school fee counter on or before 9th August 2009, and show the receipt to mr Sathish (Librarian) to collect DVDs

hello sir..this is akanksha..ii am a student of ISS...i passes out of the school in 2002...m really very glad to see the schol progress this way..and yet it still feels im right there,nothing's changed.i came to realize taht the principal has also been chnged.at our tym it was subramanian sir..im even glad to see that the assembly still takes place on tht stage front of the basketball court.the new building has gone under a lot of renovation.and god its quite different now..i have been a part of ISS since i was in kindergarten..the sports days,annual and concerts all were pride of our school.i was a resient of saham,the school saw students around sohar.saham, sohar,wadi hibi etc...wen i saw this blog i was overwhelmed...im really very obligedto be a part of ISS n plan to visit there very soon...
i wud really appreciate if u wud reply ....
