Interested students may pay RO 2.000 at the school fee counter by Sunday 09.05.10 and collect the DVD from Mr Sathish.

Concert On Thursday,22.04.2010

A)  Tuesday,20 April 2010 & Wednesday 21 April 2010

1.  In order to facilitate rehearsals and preparation for the Concert,there will be no regular classes.

2.  Only participants shall be in school from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Others will not come to school.

B)  Thursday,22 April 2010

1.  There will be no regular classes.

2.  All the participants and volunteers should report to their teacher-in-charge at 4:00pm.

Annual Day On Monday,26.04.2010

C)  Saturday,24 April 2010 & Sunday 25 April 2010

1.  Only participants shall be in school for dress rehearsal from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

D) Monday,26 April 2010

1.  There will be  no regular classes.

2.  All the participants and volunteers should report to their respective teachers -in-charge at 4:30pm.

General Instructions for both programmes

1.    Children should be kept wih the parents, and not allowed to        go near the stage.

2.    Private photography/video-coverage by parents is not allowed.

3.    Parents may park their vehicles in the open ground on the left hand side of junior school building. ROP officials will be on duty.

4.    Children should be collected from the respective teachers only at the end of the entire programme.

5.    Participants must come dressed in their costumes and with light make-up.

Sub: SAI & TIMES OF OMAN Essay Writing and poster making competition

We are pleased to inform you that Times Of Oman Essay Writing and Poster Making Competition will be held on 29^th April 2010 in the school campus. Selection for the same will be held on 5^th April 2010 in the hall in the new block at 8:00am. The topics for both the competitions in different age groups are:

Papers for essay writing and poster making will be provided to the participants. Other materials required for writing/drawing will have to be brought by the participants. Participants will be given 90 minutes for essay writing and 120 minutes for poster making. The essay to be limited to 400 words for A and B groups and 700 words for C and D groups. The students participating in these competitions will have to make their own arrangements for conveyance on 5^th April 2010 entries will be judged on creativity, content, technique and efficacy of conveying the human values selected.

Photocopy of students’ resident card shall also have to be submitted for children aged 14+. Please bring photocopies of the resident cards when you come to deposit first term fees.

SCHOOL EXHIBITION 2010

School exhibition was held on February 10, 2010. The junior section participated in the exhibition, rest of the students may participate next year. Junior to say but the show was not in anyway inferior to seniors. From Lower KG to classes IV students participated under the guidance of their respective teachers to put up an impressive show. The different rooms had various themes, which was displayed on the entrance of each room.Enthusiastic children exhibited and explained their models or projects. Not a single children appeared to be tired for the 3 long hours of explaining. The music room "Jhankar", 'Soul of English', 'Storyland', 'Budding Poet's council', 'Colours of Imagination', 'Bal Shristi', 'Fun with Numbers', 'Rasthra Bhasha', 'Creativity Corner', 'Bounties of Nature', 'Me n You', 'Let's go green', 'This is on small world', 'Wee Wonder', 'Magic by tiny hands', 'Wonderland of tiny tots', 'Hand made wonders', and 'Let's go tech' were some of themes. One room was showcased Indo - Oman one world one vision, which had various traditional dresses, food and arts.The finesses and the beauty and lastly the hardwork behind the grand show needs to be applauded.

Sub:Christmas greeting card making competition for classes V-VIII

This is to inform you that Christmas greeting card making competition will be held on 23-12-09. Selection will be based on originality, colour combination and overall presentation of the card. The card size should be from 15 cm x 10 cm. The student should prepare the card at home and submit to the class teacher on 23rd December 2009.

Name of student, class & section, GR No and name of school.

The above information should be given at the back of the card. the card should not be addressed to anyone and not signed by the student inside the card. Christmas card making is a part of Christmas celebration in lieu of 'Santa Claus' competition, which is not being held to avoid gatherings as H1N1 prevention measure.

On-the-spot Photography Competition for V-XII

There will be a photography competition for the classes V to XII. The participants will have to bring their own camers on 18/11/2009 and take snapshots of the school building from any angle at any time during school hours and contact Mrs. Mausumi Banerjee, Teacher in charge, photography. The students will themselves be responsible for the safety and security of their equipment.
