Independence day was celebrated at Indian School sohar as usual on 15/08, incidentally it was Friday hence the parents and other Indians took up the opportunity to be part of the I-day celebration. Flag hoisting was followed by speeches by the Principal Mr Arora and the newly joined vice principal Mr Binu Kumar. Honourable President of India's address to the nation was read out, followed by cultural and power packed performances by students in tricolour. Whole of the gathering stood in attention for the National Anthem. Long Live India and long live its Independence. Jai Hind!
