This is to inform you that the Australian Council for Educational Research is conducting the International Benchmark Tests in English, Mathematics, and Science which will be held on the following dates:

Wednesday   01 December   English       Classes 3 to 10

Thursday      02 December   Mathematics Classes 3 to 10

Friday           05 December   Science         Classes 3 to 6

The entry Fee is RO 3.000 for one subject, RO 5.000 for two, and RO 6.500 for all three subjects. Kindly complete the acknowledgment slip and return it to the School Fee counter along with the required fees by 29.09.10. Entries close on Wednesday, 29.09.10.

Dear Parent,

Sub: Mobile Phones in the school

As you have been informed earlier, students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school. It is observed that while most of he students conform to the above rule, some students still bring mobile phones to the school. The school has decided to adopt a strict policy in the matter. So from now onwards if a student is found with a mobile phone in the school, it will betaken away and not be returned.

In cases of extreme necessity, where some students come from far off areas or other such cases, the parents may take written approval from the Principal. In such cases, the students will be required to deposit the phone with a tag indicating name,class and GR no. of the student to the office immediately on his /her arrival at the school and take it back when the school gets over. The students will not be allowed to keep the phone with them in the school.

Sub: Eid Greeting card making competition for classes V to VIII

This is to inform you that Eid greeting card making competition will be held on 08.09.10. Selection will be based on originality, colour combination and overall presentation of the card. Card size should be 15 cm x 10 cm. The students should prepare the card at home and submit to the class teacher on or before 8th september 2010. The students may take guidance from their parents but make the card on their own.

The above information will be given at the back of the card. Card should not be addressed to anyone and not signed by the student inside the card.

For Fees      :  7.50 am- 1.00pm

Sub: DVD of Annual Concert and Annual Day Programme

DVDs of Annual Concert and Annual Day 2010 are available from school @ RO 2.500 per programme. Interested students may pay the amount on the school fee counter on or before 15th May 2010, and show the receipt to Bookstore to collect the DVDs.
