The Annual Concert 2012 of Indian School Sohar was a success. It was an electrifying performance by the students under the guidance of the teachers....The Programme started exactly as scheduled at 6.00 p.m. The students Lit the stage....and the parents braved the intermittent showers of rains...and remained glued until the end of the last dance item. The highlights of this programme were inclusion of Filipino,Korean and Italian Dances in the international ones. Mime was one of the other FIRSTS which got its due...Excellent act. Omani and Indian national anthems were sung LIVE by the chorus with a LIVE BAND...By the way !! Omani school also do not play their national anthem instead play pre-recorded CDs during the events...Last year the ISS students were requested by the Chief Guest of the Annual Function '11 to present their national anthem in one of THEIR FUNCTIONS......Great Isn't it ???? Besides One Goan song was presented with LIVE band from amongst the students.Concert couldn't remain untouched by IPL fever and the Cheerleaders.... and the show concluded well in time...EXCELLENT TIMING, GREAT ENERGY and DISCIPLINE by all staff, students, volunteers...CONGRATULATIONS...Keep it up Always.....
