Parent-Teacher meeting for classes V to VIII will be held on Wednesday, the 19th May 2010 from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm in the Junior wing block. The parents should meet the class teacher and subject teachers of the child in the rooms allotted for the purpose. Room Allotment Chart will be displayed on the notice oards.
You will appreciate that there is a large number of parents waiting to meet the teacher, hence you are requested to keep your meeting with teachers limited to five minutes.

Dear Parent,
The school will conduct Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing (ASSET) for classes III to X from September 26th to 28th 2010. This is an objective-multiple-choice test of one hour duration for each subject. This test is an authentic Test used by the Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP). No preparation is required as the tests are based on what the students have already learnt in the class. The fee for the test is RO 6.500 for English, Maths and Science (classes III - X). Interested students may complete the acknowledgement slip and return it to the school fee counter along with required fee by 13-05-10.

Sub:Exhibition cum sale by Oman Women Association
We are pleased to inform you that there will be an exhibition cum sale of hand-made craft items / toys organized by the Oman Women Association on Thursday, 13-05-2010 in the classroom of Class 1 G, at the old block of the school building from 08.30 am to 12.00 noon. This is conducted with a purpose of charity to the orphanages in Oman. You are welcome to watch the exhibition and buy the displayed exhibits.
An all-in-one DVD containing Video Movies of Independence Day, Republic Day, and still photos of Exhibition, Independence Day and Republic Day are available with Mr Sathish, Librarian. Interested students may pay RO 2.000 at the school fee counter by Sunday 09.05.10 and collect the DVD from Mr Sathish.

4.Children should be collected from the respective teachers only at the end of the entire programme.
5.Participants must come dressed in their costumes and with light make-up.

Papers for essay writing and poster making will be provided to the participants. Other materials required for writing/drawing will have to be brought by the participants. Participants will be given 90 minutes for essay writing and 120 minutes for poster making. The essay to be limited to 400 words for A and B groups and 700 words for C and D groups. The students participating in these competitions will have to make their own arrangements for conveyance on 5th April 2010 entries will be judged on creativity, content, technique and efficacy of conveying the human values selected.
