Sub: Parent – Teacher meeting for LKG, UKG &Class- I
Parent – Teacher meeting for LKG, UKG and class-I will be held on Wednesday, the 9th September 2009 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The parents should meet the class teacher and subject teachers of the child in the rooms allotted for the purpose. Room Allotment Chart will be displayed on the notice boards.
You will please appreciate that there is a large number of parents waiting to meet the teacher, hence you are requested to keep your meeting with the teacher limited to five minutes.

To mark the celebration of Hindi Diwas (Hindi Day) we have organised Nirala Hindi Poem Recitation Competition on Monday 14.09.09 during the school hours.
v The selection will be held on Saturday 12.09.09.
v Marks will be given for expression, voice modulation and pronunciation.

This is to inform you that the Australian Council for Educational Research in conducting the International Benchmark Tests in English, Mathematics and Science which will be held on the following dates:
Sunday | 15th November, 2009 | English | Classes 3 to 10 |

Tuesday | 17th November, 2009 | Science | Classes 3 to 8 |
The Entry Fee is RO. 3.000 for one subject, RO. 5.000 for two, and RO. 6.500 for all three subjects. Interested students may pay the fee at the school fee counter. Last date of payment 13.09.09.
Kindly complete the acknowledgement slip and return it to the to the School Fee Counter along with the required fees by 13.09.09.

Sub: Hindi Declamation Competition for Std. V – VIII
We wish to inform you that the above mentioned competition will be held on Thursday 17.09.09 during school hours. Selection will be held on 15.09.09. Students may choose their own topics for selections and final competition. Attention should be drawn to the following points:
· The speech should be of 2-3 minutes duration
· Content, pronunciation, voice modulation and expression shall be the main criteria for marking
· Negative marking shall apply if the time limit is not strictly adhered to
· No gestures (action) are encourage
· Judges’ decision is final

Sub: Mark Twain English Story Telling Competition for Std. I – IV on 30.09.09
This is to inform you that the `Mark Twain English Story Telling Competition’ will be held on Wednesday 30.09.09. Selection for the same will be held on 28.09.09 Monday. The criteria for selection will be on the basis of the following:
· Content & matter
· Presentation including expression and voice modulation
· Pronunciation
The duration is 2 ½ minutes. There will be a short warning bell at the end of 2 minutes. The final bell will ring at the end of 2 ½ minutes. The story teller will have to stop speaking after the final bell.
